Get humidification results without constantly being reminded of it by loud operation noises with the Ultra QuietCare™ Cool Mist Humidifier by Honeywell. By using silent ultrasonic pulses, the water from the tank is able to be propelled into the air for visible moisture. With this technology, this humidifier is up to 95% quieter than other humidifiers. After easily filling the water tank by removing it with the attached handle, the tank is able to output 1-1/5 gallons daily by running for up to 12 hours at a time. A demineralization cartridge, which is optional to use, helps if you are filling the tank with hard tap water which tends to produce a white dust when outputted from the humidifier. Its design allows for flexible positioning and its compact model can even be placed on desks or tabletops. The other appealing feature of its design is the illuminated blue glow that comes from the tank when in operation. Best in rooms that are up to 350 sq. ft, the Ultra QuietCare™ Cool Mist Humidifier by Honeywell is available in either a White or Black Finish.

I've had this unit about 3 years & it leaks where the 2 pieces go together.I always dry it before I put the top on. I have used distilled water because of the white dust filters don't last & are expensive. I would never buy another Honeywell Ultra QuietCare(tm) Cool Mist Humidifier, White Finish.
